Liam Fuller
Liam and his teammate Joseph Mudrak won the Technology Category at the 2024 Stripe Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition with their project “Your Dynamic AI Voice Companion – Redefining Personal Assistance.” Unlike other assistants, Liam’s voice companion remembered past conversations and used that context to improve future interactions.
After the competition, Liam participated in the youth accelerator Patch, where he built a Shopify app called CartShare, allowing customers to share their carts with friends to access discounts. When a LinkedIn post of him taking a business call from a school toilet went viral, Liam decided to leave school and start a company. He cofounded Source—an AI procurement platform for retailers—which has raised $1.4 million in a pre-seed funding round, and he now lives in Paris.
Liam’s advice to Stripe YSTE contestants? “Have fun, meet as many people as possible, and don’t be disappointed if you don’t win a big prize. You can get so much out of Stripe YSTE beyond an award.”
