About YSTE

Making progress since 1965

The Stripe Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition has been a launchpad for Ireland’s brightest young minds for half a century. It’s where one year’s frontier research becomes next year’s student project. It’s where you discover an island-wide community that shares your passion and curiosity.

Putting passion on display

Join us for four fantastic days of celebrating our finalists and exploring science, technology, engineering, and maths for the whole family.

More than 500 finalist projects will fill the Main Hall. Students will present their work to judges and visitors, alongside live demonstrations, interactive zones, and stage talks.

A detailed programme will be published nearer to the event date. Tickets coming soon.

Over the years

The YSTE archive stretches back to 1965. Whether you're a student, teacher, partner, visitor, or someone new to YSTE, you'll find plenty of memories to explore.

The people behind YSTE

Meet Stripe

Stripe’s story started right here. Cofounders Patrick and John Collison were once YSTE participants themselves. Patrick’s winning project set him on a course to MIT, while John’s award-winning project led him to Harvard. Now, Stripe is honored to champion the next generation of Irish innovators and problem-solvers.
